Just as each home is unique, each garage door is also unique.
Just as each home has its own quirks and characteristics, each garage door is unique. But that doesn’t mean the process for estimating its cost needs to be nebulous or unclear. At Mark’s Garage Door Services, we strive to make the process of obtaining estimates as transparent as possible.
A lot of the initial quoting process for garage door installation can be done over the phone. Many times, customers will see a garage door they like on a website, or even on a neighbor’s house, and ask if a similar door can be installed on their house and how much it will cost. If this is what you had in mind, make sure you submit a photo of the door you want, along with the measurements of your current garage door. That gives us the information we need to estimate what tools, materials, and labor are required for the most accurate estimate possible.
We understand you’re working within a budget, and we strive to work within it — we’ll give you the run down of where to invest in higher quality products or where you might be able to save money now but might cost you more in the future for repairs caused by cutting corners at installation time. Ultimately, the choice is yours, but we’re dedicated to helping you make the most informed decision you can.
Repair Estimates
We generate quotes for garage door repair primarily over the phone. Many times, the problem is as simple as items in the garage setting off the sensor, and we can fix the issue before we hang up. In such cases, there is no charge.
If it’s necessary to go on site for a repair call, Mark’s Garage Door Services charges $85 per hour, a rate which hasn’t changed since 2008.
The costs for needed repairs can vary, depending on the nature of the problem and the type of garage door. Like in installations, we’ll work with you to balance your needs with your budget as much as possible.
